Housing does not have to be difficult. All you need is a 10
(babys)-30(adults) gallon tank and your all set! Just make sure temps stay right, the snake cant escape, and that its
well ventilated. Here is a step by step process to setting up my tank.

Make are you have EVERYTHING you need before you
buy your Ball Python. Uths, Thermostats, Thermometers, bedding, the right temps, everything. I say uths because i do not trust
nor do i like bulbs. Bps can get stressed by the light, and they can be burned by them easily. Not to mention you have to
change them out every night from day time heat to night time invisible heat.

Paper towels are a great substrate for your ball python. After mine reach 500 grams
i switch to aspen, although i still prefer paper towels because of the ease of cleaning up.Pine and cedar are bad because
of their toxicity

Water bowls come in many different shapes and sizes. Although some may be pretty,
they might not be the best for your snake. Normally i set my water to about two inches high, if your water bowl is to deep
your snake might use it as a hide. I change the water every two days(and spot clean when i need to)

Hides are a MUST. Snakes like to feel secure so having a hide to
were all of the snakes sides will be touching the hide. For smaller snakes i use coconut hides, for larger snakes i use zilla
hide(pictures of both listed included). I normally have two hides, one over the warm end and one over the cold.

For your finished product it should look good, be good for the snake, and be snake
proof. You cant see it well but there's a vent on top, the glass front is also in. After all of this is complete you can add
some more decor like fake plants and such for the snake to hide in. My finished cages all look like this but there's a few
more cords for other things like heating pads and probes. Thanks for looking!

Feeding your ball python right is very important. First off you should make sure that
the food item is no larger than your snakes widest point. Secondly, we recommend F/T(frozen thawed) mice. You don't have to
feed them or house them and they don't fight your snake leaving scars and vet bills. Make sure that you thaw the mouse completely,
make sure it has no cold hard spots in it. When thawing we have a special dethawer made for mice(warms them up without
cooking them) Oh yeah, when you dethaw them, don't cook them! You can also put them in a plastic bag and put that in warm
water. Putting just the mouse in the water is not good because it can wash off its scent. When down, hold mice by tongs,(if
the snake does not look interested, hold the mouse it front of its head, and move it in a clock like motion) one
the snake takes it leave him alone, do not hold him for three days or there is the change we will throw up his meal. I normally
feed the baby's once every four days, and the adults once a week.
